Appreciations for April

April is our appreciation month for the Church Ushers, Greeters and Nursery Care Ladies. We appreciate all that each one of these volunteers do at each worship service to make the Galmey Community Bible Church function in an orderly and efficient manner and for the love they have for the Galmey Church family.   We appreciate all they do each Sunday, Wednesday and all special worship services of the year but we honor them in April.  Express your thanks and love to each of them for all their services, so we may all "Give God The Glory" and remember that together everyone accomplishes much.

Food Bank - Hickory County Outreach

First Sunday of each Month

Bring a non-perishable food item for the Hickory County Outreach in Wheatland.  In these hard economic times we must help those who are less fortunate than we are.  Maybe they have lost their jobs or just fallen on hard times and we can help by giving non-perishable food items.  We are a very giving church so let's show it. 

Bearing Precious Seed Workday

Wednesday, April 6th

2:00pm - 5:00pm to 6:00pm to 7:30pm

  Come help put the John & Romans together.  We will be putting God's word together in a foreign language.  Stay for a few minutes,  an hour or stay all afternoon and evening.  We will be serving dinner around 5:00pm.  Bring a side dish or a dessert.  Yum Yum.  We will have a short devotion after dinner and then begin putting the scriptures together again.

Mens' Fellowship Breakfast

Saturday, April 9th about 8:00am

That is what the Galmey Men's Fellowship Breakfast is all about -- FELLOWSHIP --.  This has been their goal from the beginning.  The food is good too, though.  Bring a friend or neighbor and join the wonderful fellowship in the Church Activity Center.  They always have a good time.  You won't be disappointed in the fun, food or fellowship, we guarantee.

Make every day in Hickory County an Earth Day.  It is better for you and better for the environment.  Let's leave it a better place for those who come after us than it was left to us.

Easter Sunday Sunrise Service

April 24th at 6:30am

Join us for our annual Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at 6:30am at the Corps of Engineers Shelter Pavilion.  We will have singing and a short praise and devotion time.  Expect a blessing when you see the beautiful sunrise at the celebration of the risen Son.  The Shelter is located on the east end of the dam on the north side of the Corps of Engineers Project Office.  We will serve coffee, hot chocolate and donuts.  Don't forget to dress warm so you can enjoy the wonderful service and the beautiful Easter sunrise.  We invite the community to come worship with us at all of our services on Easter Sunday, first for Easter sunrise service, second to the church for Sunday School and for morning worship service and third for the evening worship service.  We will be watching for you!

P.S.  If the weather (rainy) does not permit us to have Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at the COE Project Office Shelter, we will hold it in our "Activity Center" at the Church.

Easter Worship Service

Everyone is invited to join us for Easter Worship Service at the Church after the Sunrise Service at our regular times.  Our Galmey Church Choir will have a special music presentation at our morning service.  Join us and be a part of "Our family of God."

Attention!  We will not have an evening service on Easter Sunday so you may spend time with your family and friends.
