Galmey Community Bible Church wishes you a very Happy New Year and the opportunity to receive Jesus as your Savior.

We have a chance once again to look forward to another fresh year with a clear slate ahead.  This is how it is when we receive Jesus as our Savior.  We have the chance for a new start in life with a clean slate to begin life anew for eternity.  What an awesome opportunity God gave us through His Son.

Appreciations for January

January is our appreciation month for the Church Staff, our Church Board Members and the Watchcare Teams.  We appreciate all that the Church staff team does each day to make the Galmey Community Bible Church function in an orderly and efficient manner and for the love they have for the Galmey Church family.  The Church Board Members, our deacons and elders, keep our Church going forward in God's way.   The Watchcare Teams contacts and prays for members and assist them in any way the member needs.  They also get the church information to the members as quickly as possible, such as the church worship cancellation due to inclement weather, funeral information and any special events the church is having.  We give appreciation the webmaster, the office volunteers and the preparer of the Sunday bulletin.  We appreciate all they do each day of the year but we honor them in January.  Express your thanks and love to each of them for all their services, so we may all "Give God The Glory" and remember that together everyone accomplishes much.

Food Bank - Hickory County Outreach

First Sunday of each Month

Bring a non-perishable food item for the Hickory County Outreach in Wheatland.  In these hard economic times we must help those who are less fortunate than we are.  Maybe they have lost their jobs or just fallen on hard times and we can help by giving non-perishable food items.  We are a very giving church so let's show it. 

Bearing Precious Seed Workday

January 4th

2:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Come help put the John and Roman scripture booklets together.  We will be putting God's word together in a foreign language so our missionaries may teach them in their own language.  Stay for a few minutes, an hour, or stay all afternoon and evening.  Dinner will be served around 5:00pm.  We will have a short devotion after dinner and then resume our working for the Lord.

Bring a side dish or dessert.  Yum!  Yum!

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

January 7th at 8:00am

The Galmey men host a monthly prayer breakfast at 8:00am (always) on the second Saturday of each month.  Every man is invited for a great time of food, fellowship and camaraderie with other men.  Come and get to know the men of Galmey Church and the Pomme de Terre Lake area.  A good time is always had by all that attend.   The food is always delicious too.

5th Sunday Sing

January 29th at 6:00pm

On January 30th we will have our 5th Sunday Sing at 6:00pm.  Our Galmey Church family will entertain you with vocal and instrumental gospel musice that praises God in song.  You will have the opportunity to enjoy the talents our church family has been given by our God.  Everyone is invited to come and be blessed by them.
