Appreciations for May

The month of May is our time to show appreciation to all the Mothers, the Ladies Mission Circle, the Ladies Bible Study Group and the Ladies Prayer Group. We appreciate all that each of these mothers and ladies do for our Church, the Church family, their families, the community, the missionaries, our veterans and service men and women and especially for all the love and prayers they share. They are God's glue to keeping all of us together. Express your thanks and love to each one of them for all their love, support and services, so we may all "Give God The Glory" and remember that together everyone accomplishes much.

Food Bank - Hickory County Outreach

First Sunday of each Month

Bring a non-perishable food item for the Hickory County Outreach in Wheatland. In these hard economic times we must help those who are less fortunate than we are. Maybe they have lost their jobs or just fallen on hard times and we can help by giving non-perishable food items. We are a very giving church so let's show it.

Bearing Precious Seed Workday

Wednesday, May 4th

2:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Come help put the John & Romans together. We will be putting God's word together in a foreign language. Stay for a few minutes, an hour or stay all afternoon and evening. Dinner will be served around 5:00pm. Bring a side dish or dessert. Yum Yum. We have a short devotion after dinner and then resume putting the scriptures together

National Day of Prayer

May 5th

Let us all unite in prayer on this day. The theme for this year is "Prayer...America's Hope" and is based on the verse from Psalm 33:22, "Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee."

Mother's Day

May 8th

You are invited to join us for a special service honoring all our Mother's and ladies.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

Saturday, May 14th about 8:00am

That is what the Galmey Men's Fellowship Breakfast is all about -- FELLOWSHIP --. This has been their goal from the beginning. The food is good too, though. Bring a friend or neighbor and join the wonderful fellowship in the Church Activity Center. They always have a good time. You won't be disappointed in the fun, food or fellowship, we guarantee.

Armed Forces Day

May 21st

Please, remember to pray for the safe return of all our troops.

Say a Prayer for our troops:
"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they
protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they
perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine, Coast Guard & others deployed in harm's way, Prayer is the very best one.

Annual Memorial Day Service

May 29th

We will be honoring our Veterans and Armed Forces at our services. We would like for our veterans to wear any part or all of their uniforms. We would appreciate photos of your veterans or service men and women for our U S Veterans display table along with any other notable memorabilia. With the help of God the Veterans and Armed Forces are the reason we have the freedom we enjoy. Please thank them and give them a hug for our freedom and all they have done for all of us.

Veterans Memorial Service at Dooley Bend Cemetary

May 30th

Pastor Rick and the GalmeyVFW will have a memorial service at 11:00am on Monday, May 30th at the Dooley Bend Cemetary. Dooley Bend is on Hwy 254 just east of Galmey and just west of the Pomme de Terre Dam. Please join us in remembering our service men and women as we enjoy our freedom they have given to us.
