Appreciation for October

Pastor Rick and Edna

The month of October is when the Galmey Church family shows a special appreciation to Pastor Rick and Edna. They are always there when the Galmey Church family is in need, whether it is for a simple prayer, a blessing, to listen, to put their arms around you and comfort you, to show you how happy they are for a new family joining the church, an anniversary, a marriage, a new baby, to show you how proud they are of your work for God, to be with the sick and their loved ones or to comfort you in times of sorrow. The long hard hours they put in each day does not go unnoticed. You know the love they have for God in each of our worship services. We appreciate all they do and to Pastor Rick and Edna, all of the Galmey Church family says "Thank you and God Bless." Express your thanks and love to each of them for all their love and many services to us, so we may all "Give God The Glory" and remember that together everyone accomplishes much.

Food Bank - Hickory County Outreach

First Sunday of each Month

Bring a non-perishable food item for the Hickory County Outreach in Wheatland. In these hard economic times we must help those who are less fortunate than we are. Maybe they have lost their jobs or just fallen on hard times and we can help by giving non-perishable food items. We are a very giving church so let's show it.

Bearing Precious Seed Workday

Wednesday, October 5th

2:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Come help put the John & Romans booklets together. We will be getting God's word out in a foreign language. Stay for a few minutes, an hour or stay all afternoon and evening. Dinner will be served around 5:00pm. Bring a side dish or dessert. Yum Yum.

Flu Season Begins

October is the beginning of the flu season. It is time to renew your flu shots. We don't want any of our Galmey Church family not feeling well. We want our families together at Church.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

October 8th

That is what the Galmey Men's Fellowship Breakfast is all about -- FELLOWSHIP --. This has been their goal from the beginning. The food is good too, though. Bring a friend or neighbor and join the wonderful fellowship in the Church Activity Center. They always have a good time. You won't be disappointed in the fun, food or fellowship, we guarantee.

5th Sunday Sing

October 30th

On October 31st we will have our 5th Sunday Sing program beginning at 6:00pm. Our Galmey Church family will entertain you with readings, vocal and instrumental gospel music that praises God in song. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the talents our church family has been given by our God. Everyone is invited to come and be blessed with us.
