Appreciations for September

The month of September is our time to show appreciation to our Outreach Ministries . Express your thanks and love to each one of them for all their love, support and service, so we may all "Give God The Glory" and remember that together everyone accomplishes much.

Food Bank - Hickory County Outreach

First Sunday of each Month

Bring a non-perishable food item for the Hickory County Outreach in Wheatland. In these hard economic times we must help those who are less fortunate than we are. Maybe they have lost their jobs or just fallen on hard times and we can help by giving non-perishable food items. We are a very giving church so let's show it.

Bearing Precious Seed Workday

Wednesday, September 7th

2:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Come help put the John & Romans booklets together. We will be putting God's word together in a foreign language. Stay for a few minutes, an hour or stay all afternoon and evening. Dinner will be served around 5:00pm. Bring a side dish or dessert. Yum Yum.

Galmey Men's Breakfast

Saturday, September 10th at 7:30am for coffee

8:00am for breakfast and some good fellowship

Come early or about 7:30am for coffee and fellowship. Then enjoy the best breakfast in town at 8:00am. Then we have devotion, Bible study and prayer. Bring a friend and enjoy the morning. You never know what is cookin' but you can always know it will be delicious. We have the best cooks in town. The community men are always welcome. We want you to get to know us while enjoying the best breakfast in town and we want to get to know you too. See you at 7:30am for a good cup of coffee.

Grandparent's Day

September 11th

Grandparents Day is a special day to show the grandparents how special they are and how much each one means to us. On this day it gives us the opportunity to express our love and gratitude to our grandparents. Give them a hug and tell them what they mean to you. And grandparents give those grandchildren an extra hug so they know how special they are.

9/11 Appreciation Day

Sunday, September 11, we will have a special service. This is the day to remember and the day to show our appreciation. This will be the 10th anniversary of 9/11. We will be remembering all the men and women who gave their lives that day and all the innocent people who were killed on that awful day in our history.

We will be honoring all our local heroes who put their lives on the line each and every day to serve our local community.

Church Business Meeting

Wednesday, September 14th at 6:45pm

This is our annual business meeting for September, 2011. This is a very important business meeting and all members are expected to attend and visitors are always welcome. Join us as we work for our most gracious Jesus Christ.
