 Lester & Laura Black

Menifee Bible Church, California -- Helping to set up mission teams

Lester and Laura Black became our thirteenth budgeted missionary in June of 2000.

Lester and Laura have been involved with missions since 1993. They spent many years with Friends in Action. In 2002 the Lord moved them to work with the New Tribes Mission. In 2006 because of the retirement rules with New Tribes Mission, Lester and Laura began serving with Tecate Mission.

With the much prayer and encouragement from their supporting churches and their home church they have made a decision to discontinue their involvement with Tecate mission. They are making a change in their ministry focus. They will be be helping churches with their missions programs. They have seen a real need in many churches to set up mission programs and help churches further develop their missions outreach programs. They are preparing and organizing material for the many aspects they believe this ministry could develop into. They plan to have everything ready for this new ministry by January 2010.

• They thank you for your prayers, encouragement and support,  and especially your prayers for the new mission ministry. Thank you for standing with them in your prayers and financial support. Pray that their health will continue to gain more strength and get stronger each day.

• Their prayer to each of you is that God will continue to use each of you where He has called you to minister and bless each of you as you serve Him.
