Ginny home schools their children and works on language study.
Dan was born and raised in France. Ginny was born in Pennsylvania but her parents moved to Japan shortly after she was born and live there until she was 14 years old. Both of their parents were missionaires. They met in 1986 but did not get married until June 1997 in Rochester, New York. They received their training at the language school in Camdenton, MO.
