Galmey Community Bible Church
Don and Paula Cabeen
The Evangelical Alliance Mission
Galmey Church began sponsoring Don and Paula Cabeen as missionaries in 1982.
Don and Paula both grew up in Iowa but met while they were students at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. They were married in 1977. During this time Don earned his post graduate certificate in Missions and Bible from Grace College in Omaha, Nebraska. They then applied and were accepted with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission. In 1983 they moved to Spain to establish a church in Cordoba. In 1991 they were asked to go to Madrid to assist in the starting of a seminary, SEFOVAN. Later they also assisted with a church planting in a nearby town. In 1995 Don was asked to serve as the field director. They are currently living and working with a team of other missionaries to establish churches in and around the town of La Puebla de Cazalla in the province of Seville. Much of their time is given to evangelistic activities as well as pastoring the believers in the area. Don has regular services in La Puebla, holds evangelistic services every couple of months in Osuna and a weekly Bible study in the town Estepa. He also produces and airs a weekly TV program on a local station. In 2006 Don set aside his responsibilities of field director to dedicate full time to church planting.
Don began the TV program on February 22, 2005 and he has prepared and aired over 100 programs on a local station. They are in the process of contacting other nearby local TV stations to request permission to air the programs in other towns.
Please pray that God will give them the wisdom and creativity in preparing programs that will challenge the audience spiritually and move them to personal commitment to Christ.
