July 27th through July 31st

9:00am to 12:00 noon

Our 2009 Vacation Bible School will be giving the children a new enthusiasm for God's Word and for Jesus!  This year we are having a "God Sighting" themed Vacation Bible School program and they will be seeing what God is doing all around them.  Everything will add up to making a life-long difference in the lives of our children.  Our "Crocodile Dock" will be held from July 27th through July 31st from 9:00am to 12:00 noon in the Activity Room.  Children are invited to attend from 3 years old through teen age.  The Vacation Bible School program will be on July 31st at 7:00pm in the church sanctuary.

Our Crocodile Dock program will provide fun and memorable Bible learning activities for kids of all ages as they romp through the swamp. 

Welcome to the Bayou!

Each day the kids will:

• become a part of the Bible story - diving in with their hearty minds and emotions
• enjoy music they will keep singing long after Vacation Bible School is over
• discover how to see God at work in their world with "God Sightings"
• so their faith will be growing 

"Crocodile Dock" is an exciting way for kids to learn more about God's love.   We hope the "Crocodile Dock" will connect our youngsters with God.  The children will not just learn God's word-they'll live it.  So hop on the flat bottom boat and drift on the lazy, hazy waters under the tall cypress trees until the big adventure "Crocodile Dock" begins on July 27th at the Galmey Church.

As kids learn about God's love, they'll also enjoy hands-on bible adventures.  (Since everything is hands-on, the kids might get a little messy.  Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) 

If you would like to volunteer to help with Vacation Bible School please contact the church office at 417-282-6554.  There is always a need for adult volunteers to help in various ways during Vacation Bible School.
